Adam Watson –  Adam Watson was addicted to video games way back when he was a wee kid, pretending to be sick just to stay at home from school and play on the SNES. Now at the age of 24, he’s found a way to study for his Physics degree and play video games in the same day. He’s acquired enough Lifetime Happiness Points to get the Meditative Trance Sleep reward so that he has more time in the day to do all of this.

David A. Reeves David is a 25 year old graduate with a BA in English, and he’s wondering desperately how all of this adult stuff crept up on him. He has a large love of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy, a lack of budget sense during Steam sales, and is involved in an abusive relationship with the MMO genre. Outside of gaming, David can be found reading books with swords and magic, suffering from writer’s block on that story he said he’d write, enjoying a hookah or a beer with friends, and trying desperately not to say anything inappropriate despite the overwhelming urge. He’s an odd fellow.

Whiskey Ginger  Whiskey Ginger is a scientist by day and comedy writer by night. Other than his passions for the nerdier things in life, he also writes for comedy sites dedicated to fraternity and postgrad humor. His parents just wish he’d write less dick jokes.

Andrew – Andrew is currently the website designer for Armed Gamer along with Stephen. He’s a lifelong PC gamer after getting started with Wolfenstein 3D in the early 90’s. When he’s not working on Armed Gamer, he’s tuning his PC to maximum overclock and racking up the kills in Battlefield 4.

Emily Horton – Emily is just your average twenty something girl who discovered her love for gaming at the age of three or four, all thanks to her older brothers. Mario, The Lion King, Aladdin, Zelda were her first loves, but Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Tales, and pretty much all Japanese games eventually fell into that category. She has an unhealthy obsession with Pikachu, hoodies, her 3DS, t-shirts, plushies, and purses. She may also fancy herself as an excellent lawyer due to number of times she has played through the Ace Attorney series. Outside of videogames, she is a Disney, Harry Potter, and Tolkien fanatic, while also recently discovering that she is now a hardcore fan of Supernatural thanks to Netflix allowing her to watch eight seasons rapid fire. She has elvish writing, the Deathly Hallows, a rather large Tinkerbelle and a large Yuna from Final Fantasy X all tattooed on her body, with only more geeky stuff to be added. Currently working on her own fantasy novel, she hopes to publish it eventually once all the kinks are worked out.

Joe Kappus – Joe co-develops and keeps the site running at ArmedGamer. He also sometimes jumps in the Twitch stream with Stephen. Formerly an avid gamer limited by his main platform, he is interested in the future of seeing more games ported to Linux and other alternative OS. When not dealing with computers he’s busy trying new foods, endurance running, taking road trips, and learning languages.

John Mann – John is a 22 year old student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. With a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education, he will one day teach the next generation important skills for life. His roots are in his two favorite systems, the SNES and the N64, though he plays most games on his PC. John is married and lives in Jacksonville, AR with his wife Rachel.

Sarah BrunsonSarah has always liked science fiction and fantasy. Dune, Lord of the Rings, the Last Unicorn, Jhereg, Grimspace, 2001, you name it, she was probably devouring it if she could find it. Two liberal arts degrees later, one wedding, going into business for herself as a freelance editor, then signing on as a contractor to do some medical editing, she’s at a place where I’d like to publish some fiction for herself. Sarah also occasionally acts as guest editor for Armed Gamer.

Zach Martinez Freelancer here at Armed Gamer, North American Video Game Correspondent for Following the Nerd, and a regular on Examiner.com, Zach has made somewhat of a name for himself at the age of 22. He has been writing professionally for just over 5 years now. He doesn’t care about resolution or frames per second, he cares about what matters most, the games.
