The Last of Us 2 leaked by Nolan North

on

To some, he’s Nathan Drake. To others, he’s the president of United States and leader of the Saints. Today though, we’re just focused on Nolan North as the man who may have confirmed a sequel anticipated and hoped for by many. Yep, looks like The Last of Us 2 leaked thanks to this video.

North, described as “the nearest thing the games industry has to a bona fide leading man” according to his Wikipedia page, has had a number of influential video gaming roles in the past, but he also voiced the antagonistic character David in The Last of Us. With a score of 95 on Metacritic, game of the year awards, and just general all-around acclaim and praise, fans have been interested in a continuation of the series for a while.

On June 28th, at a Metrocon panel, an audience member asked about any further projects with Naughty Dog, and Nolan may have spilled the beans by casually confirming the sequel to the cinematic zombie game that was so well-loved. Of course, while Nolan seems confident it’s a thing, Troy Baker (Joel) has denied knowing anything.

We couldn’t expect the guy who voiced Deadpool to keep a secret though, right? With this news now in the wind, as it were, perhaps we’ll start to receive some details about TLoU2.

What are your thoughts on this matter? Excited? Or, are you just excited? Cause we’re excited, and we all definitely hope that it is true.

About David A. Reeves

David is a 25 year old graduate with a BA in English, and he's wondering how all of this adult stuff crept up on him. He has a large love of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy, a lack of budget sense during Steam sales, and is involved in an abusive relationship with the MMO genre. Outside of gaming, David can be found reading books with swords and magic, suffering from writer's block on that story he said he'd write, enjoying a hookah or a beer with friends, and trying not to say anything inappropriate despite the overwhelming urge. He's an odd fellow.
