TwitchCon Announced

Twitch, the video game streaming behemoth,  is elevating their presence in the gaming industry once again. Announced on February 20th’s Twitch Weekly, Twitch is going to hosting the first ever TwitchCon in San Francisco, CA on September 25-26, 2015.

Details are very light at the moment, and even the official Twitch announcement says this is more of a “Save the Date” kind of announcement with details about tickets and event schedules to come in the future. However, TwitchCon is being billed as “A celebration of all things Twitch, TwitchCon will be an interactive convention for broadcasters and viewers alike to meet each other, learn how to take your Twitch game to the next level, and play together.” With TwitchCon announced, this is going to be one of the biggest gatherings of streamers ever, so if you ever wanted to meet your favorite gamers, look into it.

You can check out the early website for TwitchCon or follow @twichcon for more details. Perhaps you’ll even find some Armed Gamer staff there, and meet one of the faces from our official Twitch channel.

Armed Gamer will be keeping you updated as more details are available. TwitchCon HYPE!

About David A. Reeves

David is a 25 year old graduate with a BA in English, and he's wondering how all of this adult stuff crept up on him. He has a large love of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy, a lack of budget sense during Steam sales, and is involved in an abusive relationship with the MMO genre. Outside of gaming, David can be found reading books with swords and magic, suffering from writer's block on that story he said he'd write, enjoying a hookah or a beer with friends, and trying not to say anything inappropriate despite the overwhelming urge. He's an odd fellow.
