Best Amazon Black Friday Sales

on

Black Friday always used to be an incredible hassle. I remember very fondly (in retrospect) standing outside Staples to pick up the largest external hard drive I could: a mere 250GB. I also managed to pull off the miracle of picking up a Wii that day in the first year of its release. Yeah, it was that long ago. Fortunately Black Friday has gotten much easier for the tech savvy among us. Amazon, for example, makes Black Friday shopping super simple. You can find all the Amazon Black Friday sales here, but here are some of our suggestions!

Multi-Platform Console Games

$29.99 Shadow of Mordor If you haven’t played this game yet, here is the opportunity! Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor is an incredibly entertaining game. It’s essentially a game about killing orcs, and amazingly Monolith made that conceit incredibly fun. For 50% off, it’s practically a must-have game.

$34.99 Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition – Diablo III was kind of a bummer on the PC originally. Fortunately, it found new life on consoles. Seriously, the game is really good now, especially on consoles (as much as it pains me to say that). For 42% off, this game is absolutely worth giving a try.

$39.99 Alien: Isolation Survival horror is making a massive comeback these days. Aliens: Colonial Marines was a laughable disappointment, but Alien: Isolation takes the genre back to its roots. It’s slow, difficult, and outright terrifying! It’s currently 33% off, and definitely worth getting if you or anyone you know loves real horror games.

$7.99 Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition Honestly, Dishonored was an okay game. It did a lot right, but plenty wrong. You can be forgiven for not picking it up, but at the end of the day the real question is this: Is it worth $8? Absolutely. At that price, the game is a steal!

$7.50 Far Cry 3 Far Cry 4 is out, and that’s a game that looks fantastic. If you can’t afford this game, and/or haven’t played its predecessor, now’s the time. You can get it now for 75% off!

PlayStation 4

$399.99 – PlayStation 4 and Grand Theft Auto V Bundle – Grand Theft Auto V may be more than a year old, but it’s finally reached next gen. If you’ve been waiting on the PlayStation 4, this is the bundle to get!
