Hearing Both Sides of the Mass Effect 3 Endings Debate

GamerBy: Stephen Crane

The most recent controversies surrounding Mass Effect seem to be blowing out of control. The talking heads and the forum-goers have been loudly expressing their opinions, and it sounds sadly like there is very little reasonability on both sides. In fact, one gamer quite recently reported BioWare to the FTC.

That's why, in the interest of fairness last night, and in order to test out a new feature for Armed Gamer, I decided to live stream a short, informal discussion about the endings. I took the position of defending BioWare's endings as a hard sci-fi ending as opposed to what could be seen as the expected AAA blockbuster ending. My opponent, Reid Bryansmith, took the side of explaining to me why the endings did not make sense and why they felt rushed.

If you missed the live stream and would like to see what this is all about, please take the time to watch. Also, please leave any feedback. It's a new feature, and we're working on messing with the format. What did you like about it, what didn't you like? Who do you agree with? Leave a comment and let us know!
