Fan Film Friday: It Is Still Cool To Play With Toys

on

By: Stephen Crane

Remember back in the way when we used to play with our action figures? And no, they WEREN'T dolls. You accessorized dolls but geared up action figures. Now that most of us have grown up, we've stopped seeing them as toys, but more as collectables. Every now and then, however, it can be quite fun to 'play' with our collectables. that's exactly what John Huang and Counter 656 Productions did! They took some of their collectables and made a pretty sweet stop motion animation featuring our favorites from Final Fantasy VII. A gundam or two may also show up in the video but that is neither here nor there. The project itself took about two months with around 10,000 picture shots used in the actual animation. Yeah, that's pretty impressive. We also get to see hints of a possible future video for the Halo series which I am most definitely looking forward to! (Photo: Courtesy Flickr user CLF)
