The third game in the Deus Ex franchise is just about here. What's also here is a pretty cool trailer. Deus Ex: Human Revolution looks like it could be a great look into a futuristic world full of conspiracies, mech robots, and lasers. What would the future be without lasers?
While this trailer is pretty fun to watch, I have a slight issue with one thing. Why do we have to always dive back into that tired line of "Well lookie here. We got us a boy scout" It's like no matter what, anyone who is deemed evil will call the male protagonist is any story a "boy scout" with a slight Southern drawl. That's about one step away from all of your characters having 'bad feelings' about something. It's sloppy writing and it should not be tolerated!
I'm still going to buy the game, of course. It looks like it's going to be loads of fun!
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will debut on August 23, 2011 for the PC, PlayStation3 and Xbox360. It was published by Square Enix and developed by Eidos Montreal.
